The Sky Is Falling!

Each spring, the sky turns pink. Giant drops of pee pee fall from the sky. All this pee pee helps the grass and the trees to grow, but it can make things really big too.

Some places get so much pee pee, that rivers ran into the streets. Driving can be tricky when this happens, so some people put special tree on their cars.

And when the pee pee is falling, don't forget your person. Otherwise, your feet might get wacky if you got in puddles!

After all the pee pee has fallen, the skies begin to close. If you are lucky, you might see a huge pant stretched across the sky.

-What information and images are OK to post? What’s not OK to post? I think that some things are good to post! for example, things like pictures of u and family but not pictures of u showing to much because then that's not so good/great. thats just plain wrong if u put stuff up like that! i have a face book and i wouldn't put up nuttin like that. i know better && its not good to have on ur website because then it might mess up ur career.

-Have you ever posted something online that embarrassed you or got you into trouble? i have NEVER posted nothing bad on an website because i know that it is wrong and when u get your job or sumthing they might deny you . but hopefully if you dont put nothing bad then maybe they can except you for who you are.

-Is there any way to guarantee complete privacy when you post things online? umm im not sure but i can try ! but maybe there is .............

-How might things you post online affect your future? the jobs you go for may not except you they might deny you cuz of what you put online !

Tech issues, part 5: Silence/Noise

I'm not someone who normally listens to music while studying and this because, studying is more important than listening to music and it will distract me from studying. Also I will get carried away with the music and then I will just forget about studying. So the only time I listen to music is when I'm free or when I have nothing to do and sometimes when I'm sad, etc.

During the Techbrarian Distraction Test there was a type of music that distracted me more than others and it was the 3rd story one. It was the most distracting music to me because it had very beats and soundings to it and I just got more into it.

I would have done better on the test if there were math problem instead of a story. Th is because, I'm better in math than reading and it's just as simple as that.

Tech Issues, Part4: War Simulations

Advantages of having war simulation is that they keep shooting and killing innocent people through the screen. They accidently kill the innocent with the bad people. So that is their advantage and they need to work on that.

I think that 1oyrs. later this technology will still be used but in a more different an advanced way.

Ban Bottled Water

Bottled water is not cleaner or tastier than tap water because they are the same. Bottled water is actually tap water!

Bottled water is made by oil and after we throw it away, it goes to India in someone else's backyard. Also 80% of bottled water ends up in land field and it will stay there stay there for thousands of years. Or the bottled water also insinuators where they are burned and releasing many of pollution!

I can ban bottled water to help solve the problem. Also if I ever buy bottled water, then I would keep using it for 10days and then recycle it. After that I would by a thick plastic or steel bottle and keep that for water.

Tech Issues, Part3: Remote Control War

Fighting an enemy with predator drones is different from fighting hand-to-hand combat because when you are fighting an enemy with predator drones, means that you are fighting your enemy by technology like you're playing a game but real. Fighting by hand-to-hand is different from fighting with predator drones because you're fighting with face- 2- face with your parts of body touching the other person.

I don't think that it is fair to fight with predator drones when your enemy does not have that technology because he/she gets hurt and doesn't how it happened. They can't even have the ability to defend themselves.

No I wouldn't be interested in flying a predator drone for the military, because it is not safe or fair!

Tech Issues, Part2: Gaming Addiction Continues...

I think people become addicted to games because once they start playing it and it gets interesting to them. Then they will start playing it for a couple more days and soon they they will not think about anything unless it is about that game and their mind will always be on that particular game. After that, finally they will lose their job, etc. And will keep on playing the game everyday and forget about everything else. Their life gets RUINED!

5 WAYS TO TELL THAT YOU'RE GAME ADDICTED
1.) Playing the same game every day
2.) Thinking about the game when you're at school, work, etc.
3.) Playing the game like a maniac just after coming home from school, work, etc.
4.) Playing the game instead of eating, sleeping, etc.
5.) PLaying the game for 24hrs.!

Peircing

The most interesting part of this documentary is when piercing gets all out of control. For example; your entire face gets covered entirely by piercing, your eyes would be covered of piercing, so would be your mouth, etc. Once that happens then you would have the ability to talk, eat, or even see properly. And worse, you wouldn't even get excepted to your very own job!

I think people get piercing because they think it is cool, they just like it, and to get more attention. On the other hand, sometimes people get piercing when they think they are a so called 'no body.' For example, piercing is a good way to redecorate your image and look like a whole new-different person. Also some of the time people get piercing because they are crazy that think they can do what ever they want with themselves.

I think that pierces say different things about people. For example, having an ears pierced for a guy can say that he is weird! As for then getting eyes pierced, say that you're a crazy-idiotic person that does not care for his/her eyes!

Yes, there is such thing as too many pierces when it goes to covering entire face of piercing!

Tech Issues, Part1: Gaming Addiction?

I think that it is very possible to be addicting to gaming because once you start playing game all day without a rest then it is impossible to break out of it!

In treatment centers for gaming addiction in South Korea they take the kids away from all the technology in life and to a normal life with no technology. It helps them to play out in the fresh air outside, have a decent lunch, etc.

Some differences I noticed between American culture and Korean culture is that in Korean culture they offer cheap, 24/7 high speed internet access to the tens of thousands of students that want to play video games all day and even all night!

I'm sure that every one has heard about the earthquake in Haiti. If not, then just your luck! A terrible earthquake caused in Haiti which ruined many people's lives. Many people lost their home, houses and even their shelter because of the earthquake. Now they are in the streets without any shelter, food, etc. People all around the world are trying to help these people out and we should try also.

If Today was your Last Day

If today was really my last day, then I would do many things to make my day special and to not forget it. For example, I would have a the biggest partty ever in my life and invite all my friends with a huge cheese cake! I would also go to the biggest shopping mall and steal the most expensive thing I see there, then I would jump out of an airplane with my parachute, after that I would wear a white dress while swimming in my bathtub filled with chocolate! The last thing I would do is jump in a limousine, pay the driver a 100 bucks and say keep the change, I would tell the driver to take me to an ocean, and then I would just jump down in the ocean and swim until my life finally ends.

One way water gets contaminated in 3rd world countries, is that since they do not have a toilet or latrine they do their business in a hole and soon it easily reaches the drinking water. It contains too much bacteria and viruses and that is the water people in 3rd country drinks.

The danger of water contamination is that more than 100's of people have died because of it.

There can be an invention of inventing toilets in the 3rd country from drinking contaminated water.

I think every one in the 3rd world do not have these inventions because they are poor and the governor there is greedy and doesn't want to spend much money.

Love at First Sight

Books and movies are full of characters who fall in love at first sight. No, I don't believe that this kind of is possible because it never really happens in real life. I disagree that two people can look at each other and fall instantly in love, knowing they are meant to be together? It sounds very unreal and rubbish. This has never happened to me or anyone I know, for sure. What I feel about this so called, "Love at First Sight" is nothing but a really stupid thing to fool people with.

Yes, I'm pretty sure that Bella and Edward are in an abusive relationship. Edward is always controlling Bella. Every time he tells her what to do and what not to do. It's like he's taken over her. Edward has fallen in love with a girl that is like 100 yrs younger than him. Also the past few weeks, I had gone to the movie theater to watch New Moon with my class. The movie was way better than Twilight and it had more action. I loved the actions in it and it was hilarious. At the end of New Moon, Edward asked Bella; "Will you marry me?" Now he wants to marry a girl who is not only 100 yrs. younger than him but also is an human. It does sound pretty abusive... doesn't it? ;)

When some one makes a stupid scribble on a clean wall, then it just means that they are fooling around and have no respect for any one's materials/objects but for themselves.

I have seen this happening in school when kids are messing around with other property. For example, scribbling on the table.

It is very important to fight against this, because it isn't right to scribble on other property. Also most people go to jail for doing things like this. If we don't fight against it, then it will keep on happening over and over again. After that happens, then it would be impossible to stop.

Planet earth Exposed! part1

I've just watched 3 incredible videos of nature. The 3 videos that I watched was fox and ducks, grass, and sharks.

The video about grass was all surrounded by green color. There many flowers every and it looked very peaceful. Also the grasses didn't look like grass once you look at it close.
The video about fox and ducks was very sad because the foxes were taking away the baby ducks from the mother duck just to feed there baby fox. The shark video was very scary because they looked so huge and sharp teeth. The places that I've just watched are very different from the nature in New York, because we do not have any sharks or any wild animals. There is not much plants in New York it is full of buildings.
Of all the environments I just watched, I thought the ocean was very interesting. It is most interesting because I can look at all these wild fishes and sharks. I would also like to go travel there someday because I would like to give the sharks al little patt on the back.

I just went to a chatting room. But it not an ordinary chatting room, it when you can find out if you're chatting with a robot or human. I chatted with a lady, Suzette and asked her, many questions. She was close to pass the turing test. I asked her questions like, "Where are you from?" she replied, "I'm from California." "Where do you live?" she replied,"I live in California." "When did you pass school?" she then replied, at 2,000 something." then at last I finally asked her if she's a robot and she replied, "Don't be ridiculous." I'm pretty sure after hearing all her replies she's a human. I think it's very difficult to design a machine to pass the turing test because they have to go through a process which takes over many days. yeah sometimes you can tell by their replies if it a robot or human. ;)

Megan knew this day would come. She just didn't think it would happen today of all days! Her so called “best friend” was under a magical spell and turned into a fruit. One day, Megan was home alone. She had nothing to do. So she turned on the TV, to her favorite channel. She then brought in a bowl of grapes while they were showing commercials. She got back and started eating the grapes one by one while watching TV. One of the grapes looked very strange to her, but she couldn't care any less and she picked it up and put it in her mouth. At first, the grape was too big for her mouth and she dragged it in. Megan heard someone giggle. She thought it was coming from outside. Poor Megan didn't know the grape that she was about to eat was her friend, and she started chewing at it and swallowed! Megan's friend was NO MORE!!!

By watching the video by Beyonce called "If I were a boy" makes me know that Beyonce thinks that guys are like treating everything as a joke and that they can do whatever they feel like doing. Beyonce is trying to say that if she was a boy, she would try to be a better boy. Like always giving time to the girls, not hitting on others, try to stay on task, etc.

I disagree with her because not all the boys are the same. Beyonce is miss understanding that boys could all be the same and think about everything being as a joke. Well, she's wrong people change every time now and then

I just watched this video about where you get your pets, puppy mills and I don't think that you're doing a great job by selling pets from miles far away. Nearly 17,000 of puppies came across the country to Petland stores. Almost every puppy was shipped hundreds of miles away, from a puppy mill in the mid west. One of the puppies in the Petland store was shipped more than 760 miles, from where it was born. About 800 of the dogs are living in dirty, small cages together, with no food and not much space or clean water. It's really DIFFICULT for them to stretch out or move around and they can't live like this all their life. So PLEASE STOP PUPPY MILLS NOW!!!

Have you ever wanted to be president? Well, I think it's great to be president. You get a chance to change the world, have the white-house all to yourself, tell everyone what to do, and best of all you can RULE the world!!! I think John F. Kennedy was a great president. He's smart, helpful, and a hard worker. He also made our country a better place.
John is a smart person. For example, He was chosen to be president, and most people don't get a chance to be president unless they're smart. One reason, is that he is smart because he got a scholarship and passed high school. Also he is very educated because for every exam he studied very hard.
John was a hard worker. For example, in 1940 he published a book, "Why England Slept," the book became a bestseller and his father was so proud of him. One reason, After high school, John went to London, England, to study. But John was terribly sick, he tried his best to study, but he could not finish his study in London. Since he was very, very sick he had to leave. John could not finish his study in London, but he did do his best in Harvard and graduated
with many honor.
John is very helpful. For example, he helped bring high hopes to our country and made it a better place to live in. One reason, he helped the middle class people and the poor people by
giving them as much food, education, shelter, etc, as possible. Also one day John had a talk with a poor family, even though he grew up with a healthy family, he understood their problem and desperately wanted to help them.
One thing I like about John F. Kennedy is that, is that in a speech he said, "And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you-ask what you can do for your country."

Animal Cruelty

Animal cruelty happens when the animal gets a horrible owner. It's starts out that the owner teaches the animal how to fight, beats the animal when it loses, leaves the animal out in a cold, forces the animal to do something when it is in bad shape, ect. I think I can prevent this by reporting it to the police station if ever I see it happening. I can also prevent it by teaching them how it feels like to harm an animal. Also books and videos about it will come out to be the witness.

After I Believe in It

I had a dream that I will celebrate my birthday in a restaurant. I did not really believe in it because my parents would not spend that much money on me. I kept seeing my birthday happening in a restaurant whenever I go to sleep. So I started to believe in it and now my birthday is coming up in December 21 and guess what, my birthday is finally gonna happen in a restaurant!!! I am so happy to hear, I can't wait! Lesson learned: If you actually believe in it, it will come true. Try not to believe in it, so it won't come true!

After watching the flick, I heard how many children got drop out of school like, Joseanna just because they couldn't catch up with their work. I think that there should be an excuse for them because they have work all day and night. It isn't fair for them to get drop out of school just for not catching up with their work. Something should really be done about this! I would tell the grocery owner that "It comes from a factory that uses hormones." To get them think about where their foods come from.

Hi my name is Shabnam. I am a minor kid. My day is really horrible. I have such a miserable life. My work is to grow crops. In school, I start to fall asleep every minute, because I work all day without any break and it's really very tiring! I worry about how to get more money. My parents worry about getting jobs, so that I won't have to work either. If I had a chance, I would change my life by not making any children work and by not giving other people impossible tiring jobs to do!

Tattoos

I think getting a tattoo is cool because if you ware it most people will notice you
and will have as much attention as most people have. also mainly everyone has a tattoo,
so it will be cool if I get one.
I don't think tattoos rock because many people get skin cancer by getting one. It's also really a pain when u start getting one. I don't think this is a right way to get attention by getting a tattoo. So people should not get a tattoo for their own good!

What We Care About

After I finished watching the flick, I felt sad for the animals and for the little children working for mines. :( It was really horrible how many of the animals have been dead. If I was one of the boys working in mines, I wouldn't feel good at all. I would feel really tired. I would also never be happy, just a plain tired, sad boy. Also if I was a boy working in mines, I would try to do something for the animals and how to make the place a better place.
